The Pukeko by Azarah

Pukeko.
A pukeko has a red ruby beak with blood red eyes, and orange legs. The pukeko beautiful dark blue and The pukeko lives in ponds with sallow water. The ponds have reeds to build their nest. It makes a nest and has white and brown spotted eggs. When the chicks are born the mum and dad looks ather their babies. In the morning the pukeko splashes to was her feathers combs her feathers with, fiery red beak. Next she scratches for food, she walks around and flies back to her nest. Pukeko protect themselves by flapping their wings and scratching if in danger.
