I shrunk my kids!!
One sunny afternoon I told my kids to play outside with Coco their dog.
“Ok dad,” said Arama. “Ok.” said Nadia. “Ok,’” said James.
So they went outside to play with their dog Coco. They played tag with Coco. They played ‘hide- and- go- seek’ with Coco; they played baseball with Coco. Then they said to Coco, “We are going to play two more games with you Coco.”
Mum called to Arama, Nadia and James to come in for lunch. “Come on in, we are having roasted hot dogs.” “What?”said Arama, “Not real dogs, that's just what we call it.”
As we finish our lunch suddenly there’s a crash! Boom! Bang! And a Kaboom!
The kids rush up the stairs like lightning bolts and said, “Dad! What are you doing?” But dad couldn't hear them. So they tapped dad on the shoulder and said to dad, “What are you doing? We heard a bang! Boom! Crash! And Kaboom! So what were you doing? We thought you were dead.” “No silly children, I was just working on my new project, it's called the ray gun mark two.”
The children were astonished, then Arama pressed the button and shrunk the kids. Arama excluded himself and the children were so scared that they jumped into the garden. When Arama, Nadia and James were worn out Nadia cried. Arama said, “Don't cry, its ok. Dad and mum will find us.”
Dad called to mum. Mum ran like Usain Bolt. Dad was astonished, but he said, “Mum I shrunk the kids!”
“What!?” mum said, “You shrunk the kids!” “It’s not my fault,” said dad,” Arama was the one who pressed the trigger.”
Mum said nothing. Then mum decided to say, “We have to reverse the action, on the mark to the ray gun.”
“What!” dad said, “That will take 1 day to reverse the action, so the kids will have to survive the day? They can do it, they've all been to camp before.”
The kids were scared but James said to Arama and Nadia, “We will make a tent for the night.”
The three kids made it through the night and mum and dad finished reversing the switch on the mark two ray gun. They couldn't find the kids in the garden, so they were just going to give up when the kids where on the table and dad quickly shot the gun. In a flash of light the kids were big again, but too big!! Arama was 2 metres tall, Nadia was 3 metres tall and James was 1.9 metres tall. “Well we will just have to leave them the size they are, said dad.” Yeah! said the kids, they were happy.
The End.

Athlete in action
It's a final of the woman's pole vault. The New Zealand pole vaulter is wearing bras and a bikini.  She's talking to herself  and finally she runs up and plants the pole. It bends and she's about to go over the bar.

She soars over the bar! A lucky go. She was worried but she went over. She was screaming for joy while she was falling to the mat.

She fell onto the smooth pad. She was so happy, she was jumping for joy, then she started crying when all the people were cheering for her. What a winner!

Athlete in action at the 2016 Olympic Games.
It was the final for the women's pole vault at the Olympic Games. Everybody's cheering and clapping and I am very nervous. I have been working so hard to get into the Olympics. So the judges tell me to go when I am ready. I started by doing a fast run up.

Next I planted the bendy pole into the ground and used my upper body strength to lift me over the cross bar. I cleared the Bar and floated down towards the mats .I landed on the mat and it was bouncy and springy.

After this I could see that I made it over the bar, I was so proud that I was representing my country at the Olympic Games. Finally the judges call me up and said, "from the smallest country competing in this year’s games.." The producer said, “…Liza McCartney!” I was so excited that I was the third best in the whole world, at the pole vault.

Honey I shrunk kids
Lisa and Jack were brother and sister. Their dad was a scientist, a famous scientist. He had made the first flying car. You would always find him in the basement and hear bangs and sizzling coming from the basement, because orders from his clients were always coming for ice guns that could make icicles form at the tip; a box that could turn into a beach; but the most popular was the flying car.
Lisa and Jack were in the basement with their dad watching him work. They loved it there because their dad sometimes let them try out the new food he had made or take them for joy rides out in the most recent flying car. But, today he asked if they could leave for a moment. They were about to leave when something struck them, and then the things around went bigger. Quickly they realized they were growing smaller .......... "Dad!! "they screamed. He picked them up and shouted to their mother, "Honey I shrunk the kids." Their mother ran and said, "Can you fix this? " "I don't know I will try to make a grow ray, but that will take two days, so I will start now. " said Dad.
The next two days were horrible as their mother had to give them crumbs to eat, which did not taste that good. It was hard for their dad too, who barely had any sleep. At last the ray was done. Their mother made them sit on the sofa so they would be sitting down when they would grow bigger. Their dad pointed the gun at them and then there was a loud bang!! Lisa and Jack were back to normal nice and big. Lisa jumped up and so did Jack and they gave their parents a big hug.

The Cave of the Gorgons!!!
I am Perseus I landed on the mountain near the 'cave of the Gorgons'.  Only a few seconds later I heard snoring. Only a few people had ever been there, but none of them came back.
In the cave it is grey, Black and brown and really scary. From my hiding spot there were statues that looks like they have seen something disgusting. There were cats, dogs, boys, girls, humans and animals just standing there not moving because they are all stiff in rock.
In the cave it is leaking and it is loud and it is very dark. What is that noise it sounds like snoring it was Medusa! And they lived happily ever after.

LIZA McCARTNEY DOES POLE  VAULT 2016
It is the finals for the Women's Pole Vault. Liza McCartney is getting ready for her final jump. She is getting changed into her New Zealand clothes. Her equipment is her pole vault. Her pole is made of fiber-glass and carbon- fiber, so that her pole can flex to get herself up and over the bar.

She has to run as fast as lightning so she can push herself up. She runs fast and puts her pole down into the special box. She lifts herself up and up, and over.

She lands on a squishy mat and she looks up at the bar. The bar is still up on the stands. She waits for the Australian lady to have her turn. She didn't make it so Liza McCartney cried because she know that she had won a BRONZE MEDAL.

Why NZ Should Host The Next Olympic Games
Why I think New Zealand should host the next Olympic Games.

I think New Zealand should host the next Olympic Games because not a lot of small countries have hosted the Olympic Games and it could really be a nice opportunity to finally host one.

I will give you five reasons why New Zealand should host the next Olympic Games:

1: New Zealand came second per capital in the medal count.

2: New Zealand has never hosted an Olympic Games.

3: New Zealand has a lot of sport stadiums.

4: New Zealand is actually not too small to host the Olympic Games but the head of the Olympic Committee says it is.

5: We hosted a Rugby World Cup and we still have left over infrastructure.

Pole Vault
It is the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. A New Zealand man named Paul is competing in the pole vault. He has big arm muscles, big hands and skinny white shoes.  He is wearing a black singlet with 'New Zealand' printed on the front and a silver fern on it too.  He looks nervous and scared waiting with his pole ready to jump.  It's now Paul's turn, he runs really fast and jumps as high as he can.  The grey pole is bendy and he flies over the bar, he has done it! The bar stays in place and Paul is very happy. He hopes it's enough to win a gold medal.

The Opening Ceremony at the Rio Olympics
On the six of August at the Rio Olympics stadium. I am the New Zealand flag bearer at the opening ceremony.
As I was waiting outside the stadium, I had butterflies in my stomach. Then I saw people from different countries and they were lining up in their country
Then I heard people they were cheering for their countries. The athletes were in different colours, they were blue, black, red, green and last but not least yellow. The crowd was going crazy. They were screaming loud and cheering.
Then I smelt something delicious and it was popcorn. It smelt nice. I wanted some but I had to march in the ceremony.
I felt proud of myself and also felt awesome when I was marching in the Olympic stadium.

Today's Training-For Olympics.
Today I got up at 5 am, the sun was just coming up.  I put on my active wear and set off to the shot put training area.  When I got there it was as cold as ice. There were already a group of girls practicing there 100 meter sprints.  I didn't worry as I was there to train.  I put on my hand covers and got to work.   Firstly I worked on my arm technique and then on my foot work.  I really needed to work on how strong I should push the ball.  Then I had a little break, to cool down as the day was warming up quickly. It was all most 7 am and the sun was shining brightly in the sky.  I got back into action, practicing my aim. Once I was finished I went onto weight lifting. I did as much as I could, but the day was getting hotter and hotter and I started to get hungry. I needed to refuel my body.  Some of the other athletes started to arrive for their training, especially the swimmers.  I really needed to concentrate on my own training.  I put myself to the real test, putting all of my work into action 1..2..3.. I counted then push. Off went the shot put, it was my best throw to date, a personal best.  That was a good way to end my training. It was off to the showers and for a yummy, fruity, carb- loaded smoothie.

On Saturday the 6th of August, at the Rio Olympics stadium, I am the New Zealand flag bearer at the Opening Ceremony. Waiting for the Opening Ceremony to start, I saw the people at the back of me waving and saying hi. I look up and sees fireworks up in the sky while I am walking around the stadium. Honey I shrunk the kids!
One sunny nice morning I woke up feeling exited because I'm about to work on my new project called ELECTROZORBTASTIC LASER JETBRAIN gun. I woke up and started to work on my gun. The kids were having breakfast suddenly when they came to look  I was out of the room doing something and they touched it.

When they touched it, I came back in to see my kids smaller then ever before. I couldn't really see them but I could hear them. I had 3 kids Sean, Jenna and Blake. Once I saw them I didn't know what to do, so I just grabbed the gun and threw it in the garbage because I didn't want that to happen again.

After that I called my wife so she could help me figure out what to do. Once she was here I was so relieved. She asked where the gun was. 'Its in the trash' I said. She got it out then shot the gun at the kids. It made them finally normal size. After that the project was ruined and I swore that I would never shrink the kids again!

Kitty the Tiger
So is it a wolf? No it's a cat but a bigger cat like a lion but with no mane.

Paragraph 1: So it lives in a forest or jungle. Also it could be seen in the bush around New Zealand, the areas it could be seen in mostly is around the north island but could be seen in the south.

Paragraph 2: It has two big eyes and the eye colour is mostly brown black. If you're lucky enough then the colour would be blue. It is also big, wide, long and tall. The ears are pointy and long and stand up. The legs are short but wide and the tail is small just hanging over the bum. The skin colour is unusual, as it could be any colour at all just the colour you want or the colour you find.

Paragraph 3: It eats fruit berries so it eats blue, red and black berries. The fruit they eat are bananas, oranges, apples and kiwi fruit but some are kind of hard to for the tiger to find. So if they cannot find any of those it will just eat leaves or grass.

Paragraph 4: Do you know where the tiger was born and where it comes from? The tiger could be born every minute but it really takes at less around 3 to 4 months. They could have around 8 to 9 cubs but if the mum has not been eating then she could lose at less two or three of her cubs. The areas the mums like to have their cubs are in dry warm spaces and they like to have food ready for the birth. The first ever tigers born were from a lion because the lion had eaten some different than it normally does.  At the birth it had 3 tiger cubs and they treated them like their own until they turned on them that is why they don't like each other from that day on. The tigers come from all over the world but the place they were first born is where they're from. They are from Africa and they got sent over to New Zealand now there are not many left in Africa any more.

Paragraph 5: All the tiger does is climb and jump like a normal animal and that is mostly all.

Horse Riding
As I jump on my horse with steel hoofs, I feel very nervous. I am very positive that I'm going to win.

The crowd is cheering me on. I can't wait to cross that finish line. I say to myself, "My horse and I are very nervous". The horse boundaries open. "Ready, steady, go!" the host yells.

I'm nearly at the finish line, just need a bit more boost so I can sleigh the others in front of me. Suddenly they all go behind of me. " Yes!". I see the finish line now. I give my horse a big kick. I pass the finish line.
I go back to the stadium to hear the results. "In first place is Breeze Franklyn".  I get called on to the stage and I do a little speech about myself as the host gives me a gold medal and a trophy.

I feel so happy and can't wait to get a drink of water. I'm so excited to show my friends and family my gold medal.

Honey I Shrunk The Kids!
It was one fine spring morning. CRASHING and BANGING was coming from upstairs in the Attic. The three kids David, Katy and Layla, went upstairs to find out what all the racket was. "We should have known!" they said at the same time. It was dad working on his science experiments AGAIN! "DAD!" they shouted. He didn't seem to hear them. "DAD!" they yelled hoping this time he would hear, but he still didn't hear. "DADDD!" they bellowed. He turned around, "Oh hello kids, I didn't hear you come up," he smiled. The kids laughed. Layla ran to dad she was only 4. " Daddy I made you a picture", she said. It was a picture of her and Dad. "Awww, how sweet," said Dad. Dad had been working on a project, it was a gun called the 'ELECTROZORBTASTIC LASER JETBRAIN gun. Dad accidentally dropped the gun on its Blast button.....

BLAST!! went the gun! "OH, NO!" shouted Dad. He had accidentally BLASTED the kids with GUN! THE KIDS HAD SHRUNK. "DAD WHAT HAVE U DONE" said the tiny little voices from the ground. Layla ran off into the garden crying, "NOOO," Dad, David and Katy all shouted "NOOO" altogether too. Mum had heard the yelling from Dad and asked what was up. "Well. um, I accidentally blasted the kids with my new gun and shrunk them" Dad whispered "WHAT!" she yelled. Then she fainted.

Katy had gone into the garden. "Layla!" screamed David. Katy ran into the garden to find her little sister crying. "Whats wrong Layla?" said Katy softly. "I hurt my leg, I think its broken" said Layla "Come on David and I will carry you". So they picked her up Mum and Dad came running into the garden. Dad spotted the kids and swooped the kids into to his warm loving hands.

Dad walked up to the Attic with Mum by his side. "NOW all I have to do is blast you with ELECTROZORBTASTIC LASER JETBRAIN gun!" he said trembling with fear. So he picked up the gun, "ONE" "TWO" "THREE". He pressed the button and there was a flash of light and a bit of smoke. After the smoke had cleared.......  the kids were back to there normal self. They ran to their parents hugging them with love. Mum kissed them each on the head and they hugged for awhile. "Kids I'm sorry its all my fault," Dad finally spoke. The kids and Mum gasped "No!" they said in horror Dad laughed, they hugged again. This time for much longer. "WE LOVE YOU," said the kids. "WE LOVE YOU TOO." said Mum and Dad. So it was a happy ending for the family. Lets just hope Dad doesn't need to use that gun again!
